Come From Away
Strathfield Musical Society presents Come From Away at the Latvian Theatre. In the week after 11 September 2001, 38 planes were ordered out of the sky and landed at Gander, Newfoundland, doubling the town's population overnight. Twelve actors play both the stranded passengers and the locals who took them in. Book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein. Played without an interval.
