Essgee's The Pirates of Penzance
Savoyards Musical Theatre presents Essgee Entertainment's riotous reinvention of Gilbert and Sullivan — the one with the Pirate King in leather, the trio of Fairies, and a driving pop-rock arrangement laid over the original score. Frederic, apprenticed to a band of tender-hearted pirates by mistake, discovers that a leap-year birthday has complicated his release considerably.
