Gilbert & Sullivan: A Soirée of Song and Satire
Prospero Arts serves up a delightfully dizzying, wonderfully witty concert celebration of the undisputed kings of theatrical chaos, Gilbert & Sullivan. Directed by Stuart Maunder AM and backed by a 19-piece orchestra live on stage under musical director James Dobinson, this semi-staged concert production races through the best bits of the G&S canon. Starring Ben Mingay, Cassandra Seidemann, Nina Korbe, Billy Bourchier, Jason Barry-Smith and Irena Lysiuk. Presented in a concert setting with reduced sets, lighting and costumes, with the focus on the story, the score and the vocal talent of the cast.
