It’s the start of a new term at East High… and the Wildcats are about to discover that sometimes the biggest challenge isn’t the big game — it’s being brave enough to try something new. When basketball star Troy Bolton and brainy newcomer Gabriella Montez unexpectedly audition for the school musical, they turn East High upside down. Suddenly the jocks, brainiacs, thespians and skater dudes are questioning the labels that define them — and discovering there might be more to life than sticking to the status quo. But not everyone is thrilled about this shake-up. With the reigning theatre stars determined to keep the spotlight, the pressure is on as friendships are tested, stereotypes are shattered, and the whole school learns what it really means to follow your dreams. Packed with infectious songs, high-energy choreography and plenty of Wildcats spirit, Disney’s High School Musical On Stage! is a feel-good celebration of friendship, courage and finding your voice.
