Into the Woods
State Opera South Australia presents Sondheim's Into the Woods at Her Majesty's Theatre. A baker and his wife set out to break a witch's curse, and their path crosses Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and Rapunzel — then the show asks what happens after happily ever after. Hugh Sheridan, once a State Opera Children's Chorus member, returns to Adelaide as the Baker, with Johanna Allen as his wife and an all South Australian cast. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by James Lapine.
