Lizzie the Musical
Lizzie is a punk rock musical based on the true crime story of Lizzie Borden, who was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe in 1892. The musical uses a powerful rock score, performed by an all-female band, to explore the psychological motivations behind the murders, featuring a cast of four female roles and described as a "bracingly camp" and "queer" spectacle with elements of dark humor, revenge, and betrayal.
