Merrily We Roll Along
Darlington Theatre Players present Sondheim's backwards-running musical. It opens on Franklin Shepard, a wealthy and jaded composer who has traded songwriting for film producing, and runs in reverse through every milestone that cost him his two closest friends, ending with the three of them young, broke and certain of the future. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by George Furth. Directed by Dale Wescombe and Sarah McCabe.
